Terms And Conditions
Transforming Humanity
Terms and Conditions of the International Spiritual Council for Transforming Humanity, hereinafter referred to as ISCTH.
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by private customers and entrepreneurs with the International Spiritual Council for Transforming Humanity. Participants take full responsibility for themselves and their actions while participating in events. The suggestions of the lecturers or their helpers are suggestions that can be followed voluntarily at their own discretion, or not. The use of services is not a substitute for therapeutic, medical or psychological treatment. Clients are fully responsible for their physical and mental health at all times. Participants are in full possession of their mental powers and take full personal responsibility for themselves while working with ISCTH, during the breaks. ISCTH is only liable for damage caused by gross negligence or intent. The speakers, the helpers and the organizer ISCTH are indemnified from any liability claims against further damages. Participants are liable for damages caused by non-compliance with the agreed obligations on their part from ISCTH or its employees.
For participants of companies
This information must also be brought to the attention of the employees or participants.
Registration & payment of a possible participation fee
The oral or written registration obliges you to pay the participation fee within the payment period according to the invoice. Failure to pay the participation fee is not considered a cancellation. In the case of payment transactions from abroad, all bank charges are to be borne by the customer. The following payment options are offered:
Invoice
The customer must transfer the invoice amount to the account specified in the invoice.
Credit card
As part of the ordering process, the credit card data will be requested, carried out and debited.
For
organisational reasons, we reserve the right to postpone or merge events, to change the venue and content, as well as to switch from face-to-face formats to online formats if face-to-face teaching is not possible for legal or other compelling reasons. If lecturers are absent, ISCTH can change mentors.
Course places & implementation
In order to be able to hold our events under optimal conditions, we set a minimum and a maximum number of participants for each offer. Places will be allocated in the order of registration (subject to timely payment). If there are insufficient participants, the event will usually be postponed and the participation fee will be considered paid for the new date.
ISCTH assumes no liability for third-party costs such as travel costs, accommodation costs, etc., incurred by participants and does not reimburse these costs in the event of a change in the event. In the event of booking changes by the customer, ISCTH reserves the right to withhold or charge a processing fee of CHF 100.
In the event of an official ban on events that have already been booked and confirmed or official restrictions/requirements (e.g. pandemics, force majeure), ISCTH is entitled to offer customers a replacement event within 12 months with 6 days' notice or to hold the planned event online. Only if no replacement offer is made within this period are the customers entitled to withdraw/terminate.
Digital products sales via Digistore24
The sales processing of the digital IATL events is handled by Digistore24. As soon as a customer clicks on the buy button of one of our digital events, they leave our website and are redirected to our individual Digistore purchase page set up for this purpose. Digistore24 is a service of: Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim – Imprint. Since customers buy their product via this platform and it is also made available via it, Digistore24's terms and conditions also apply. However, these T&Cs take precedence over all provisions in Digistore's T&Cs. The general terms and conditions of Digistore24 GmbH apply exclusively as supplements.
Course exclusion/premature termination of the participant
ISCTH reserves the right to exclude one or more participants from the event for good reasons. In the following cases, the entire participation fee is owed, i.e. there is neither a pro-rata refund nor a waiver of the participation fee: exclusion from the event due to non-payment of the course fee as well as in serious cases (defamation, harassment, intentional damage to property, etc.). In the event of a voluntary, premature termination by the participant, there is no entitlement to a refund. A written declaration must be signed on site.
Cancellations outside the right of withdrawal
Every registration is binding. Cancellations from the program by the participant(s) after the confirmation of the registration must always be made in writing (electronically or by post). For cancellations made up to 60 days before the start of the program, ISCTH will charge 50% of the program fees and other additional costs. For cancellations made less than 60 days before the start of the program, ISCTH will charge 100% of the program fees and other additional costs. If the participant is absent from class, in particular due to illness, holidays, military service or professional stress, there is no entitlement to a reduction of the programme fees and other additional costs. In principle, we recommend that you take out education and travel expense cancellation insurance.
Private
customers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal, from the date of verbal or written registration. If the service has already been used, the right of withdrawal expires. Entrepreneurs are not granted a voluntary right of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay you all payments we have received from you no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this purpose, the revocation form available from us can be used. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Unattended lessons
Lessons that have not been attended can only be made up after written confirmation from ISCTH and will not be remunerated.
Insurance
For all events organized by ISCTH we exclude any liability for damages incurred. Customers and participants are therefore responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient insurance coverage. The use of the ISCTH facilities or the infrastructure rented by ISCTH is at your own risk. ISCTH cannot be held liable for theft and loss of items.
Video & audio recordings
By booking an event, participants give their explicit consent to the fact that photo, video and audio recordings are recorded for advertising, teaching and research purposes and that they can be used for the media and for advertising measures of the organizer.
Program & price changes
Program and price changes as well as changes in the general terms and conditions are reserved. In the event of significant and drastic changes, customers have a right of withdrawal without compensation.
Data Storage/Data Protection
ISCTH informs that it processes personal data in order to fulfil contractual obligations, taking into account the requirements of data protection law. The information on compliance with the GDPR can be found in the privacy policy under https://www.iscth.org/privacy-policy . Participants agree to be informed about news and events by the organizer via e-mail and mobile phone. ISCTH intends to use this personal data to promote events of other companies such as MaitriBodh Parivaar GmbH and International Academy of Transformative Leadership with similar goals.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Disclaimer
Insofar as technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) are used or made accessible as part of ISCTH services or offers, their use is at the participants' own risk. The content generated by AI may include automated results that may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. There is no substantive or legal review by the ISCTH.
ISCTH assumes no liability for damages caused directly or indirectly by the use, distribution or interpretation of AI-generated content, unless these are based on intentional or grossly negligent behavior of ISCTH. Liability for consequential damages, lost profits or loss of data is excluded.
ISCTH may use external AI service providers for this purpose, over whose content and processing results it has no influence.
Use by participants
Participants undertake not to use AI technology provided for unlawful, discriminatory or harmful purposes. The IATL reserves the right to restrict or block access to such functions in the event of misuse.
Place of jurisdiction
Swiss law is applicable to all legal relationships with ISCTH. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Geneva.
